Hospitality. Redefined.

Philoxenia (φιλοξενία) is one of the oldest and most cherished values in Greek culture, deeply rooted in the traditions of ancient Greece. The word comes from the Greek words phílos (friend or love) and xénos (stranger or guest), meaning “friendship toward strangers.” In ancient Greece, hospitality was considered a sacred duty, protected by Zeus Xenios, the god of guests and travelers. Philoxenia was more than generosity — it was a way of honoring and welcoming others with warmth, respect, and kindness.

At our homes in Athens and Sifnos, we embrace the spirit of Philoxenia by offering every guest an authentic experience of Greek hospitality. We believe that true hospitality is found in thoughtful details, personal care, and creating a space where guests feel genuinely welcomed, comfortable, and at home. Our aim is to share not only beautiful homes, but also the warmth and generosity that have defined Greek culture for centuries.
